Mahatma Gandhi

If you have grown up as a child in India then you must remember the 2 minutes silence at 11 a.m. on 30th January every year, the day Mahatma Gandhi was shot dead. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi or Baapu was the pioneer of 'Satyagraha' movement a total non-violence approach that led India to become an Independent country in 1947. He is officially honoured in India as the Father of the Nation. Couple of quotes from Gandhism: - “Be the change you want to see in the world” - “My life is my message”
